Description
Hotel Bellevue Syrene is situated on the foundations of a Roman villa from the 2nd century B.C. and was built as a private villa in 1750. In 1820 the residence was converted into a small hotel. Renovation carried out over the years has not damaged the original style and often old frescoes from the seventeenth century have been shown to advantage. This has resulted in the Bellevue Syrene being included among the historical buildings of Italy. The present-day structure with 73 rooms, divided in a main building built on a sheer drop to the sea and a small villa on the tree-lined drive to the hotel. All of the rooms have a small balcony, most of them on a sheer drop to the sea. The 5 suites available for guests are all different from one another and have a large terrace with a view of the Gulf of Naples. The 19 junior suites, on the other hand, are characterized by a layout on two levels that divide the living area from the bedrooms. The hotel’s terraces, overlooking the Gulf of Naples, offer unequalled panoramic views. |
