Tour details:

DAY 1 Arrival to Rome. Transfer with bus to the hotel and check-in. Welcome dinner.
DAY 2 Breakfast. Excursion with bus and on foot to Villa d’Este in Tivoli northeast of Rome. Return to the hotel with bus. Afternoon free or optional excursion.
DAY 3 Breakfast at the hotel. Day free or optional excursion. Lunch and dinner on your own.
DAY 4 Breakfast in the hotel, check out and departure with bus. Visit the beautiful Villa Landriana with its fantastic gardens south of Rome with a lunch buffet in the midst of the gardens. Time to enjoy the impressive Tor San Lorenzo nursery. Continuation south towards Sorrento and along the way a stop at a historical citrus grove for a refreshing drink.
DAY 5 Breakfast. Excursion, two choices—one of which are included in the package: 1) The Royal palace and Gardens in Caserta or 2) The Amalfi Coast with Ravello.
DAY 6 Breakfast in the hotel. Day free for own jaunts or optional excursion.
DAY 7 Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to the island Ischia with the fantastic gardens of La Mortella. Farewell dinner at the hotel incl beverages or Farewell dinner.
DAY 8 Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out. Transfer to the airport.

Villa d’Este. This Renaissance Villa was built in the 1550s the son of Lucretia Borgia. Designed to impress the Cardinal's guests, the Villa d'Este's gardens are composed almost exclusively of water features. Fountains of every description dazzle, including the gigantic Water Organ Fountain, which cascades down a huge drop into quiet, shady pools. The beautiful Vatican Gardens are in Italian style, to which are joined the French gardening austerity and lively bushes in English style. The area is also embellished by many fountains. A must-see for garden lovers, the garden is adorned with fountains, mosaics and sculptures. Villa Landriana gardens are located in a poetic and atmospheric setting in the South of Rome, just a few kilometers from the sea. Originally they belonged to the Marquis Lavinia Taverna Gallerati Scotti and in the sixties were remodeled by the famous English landscape architect Russell Page. Caserta. A splendid work is the universally famous and appreciated Palace of Caserta designed and mostly built by the Dutch architect in Italy called Vanvitelli. The Palace has 1200 rooms. The gardens were completed after the King left the kingdom, and in 1762 the water from Maddaloni reached the Palace through the Caroline aqueduct. The Amalfi coast. This is an unforgettable journey along one of the most spectacular stretches of coastline in the whole of Italy: from the enchanting Amalfi to the legendary Positano, from the majestic Ravello to a host of lesser known but equally captivating locations … The Gardens of Augustus are built on the ruins of ancient Roman structures, named for Roman Emperor Augustus. They overlook the steepest face of Mount Solaro and the sea. Scenic terraces provide panoramic views of the rugged cliffs along the island’s coastline. Ischia – the Emerald Island, Ischia is studded with pine groves and surrounded by sparkling waters that wash up on many sandy beaches. In 1951, William and Susana Walton purchased property in the north-west corner of Ischia. Now La Mortella is counted among the most beautiful gardens in Italy!
